Erasmus School of Economics is looking for a Secretary to the Participation Bodies. As a Secretary to the Participation Bodies, you will be based in the Dean’s Office and you will be the linking pin for the School’s participation bodies. You support the School Council and the programme committees, both in organisational and substantive matters. The language of communication is English.

The start date of this position is as soon as possible and you will be based at Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam. The position is for 0.6 FTE. The salary is dependent on your experience and knowledge and ranges from a minimum of €2.968,- to a maximum of €4.093,- gross per month on a fulltime basis, in accordance with scale 9 of the CAO-NU. In addition, we offer an 8% holiday allowance, an end-of-year payment of 8.3%, and a very generous paid leave scheme. Furthermore, EUR is affiliated with ABP for the pension provision, and we offer partially paid parental leave, fully paid extended birth leave for partners, a personal career budget, work-life balance coaches, discounted collective health insurance, and more. The School Council serves as the Schools’ participation body. It is made up of Dutch and international members of staff and students. The School Council discusses the general state of affairs in the School with the Dean. In addition, the Dean keeps the School Council up to date on his policy decisions and his intended policy measures in relation to education, research and financial and organisational matters.
Besides the School Council, the various programmes within ESE each have their own programme committee. The programme committees advise the programme director on all matters relating to the programme. In addition, the programme committees provide recommendations regarding the implementation of the curriculum and changes to the teaching and examination regulations. The programme committees are also comprised of Dutch and international staff members and students.
