We are looking for a colleague in our forensic and legal psychology team. Our main teaching mission is to deliver a one-year master specialization in forensic and legal psychology. Our team currently consists of around five people. There is room for a temporary additional member. The main task for the candidate is to provide individual guidance to students engaged in their research internship. You are expected to initiate research internships and to supervise students. Besides supervising research internships, you may be asked to assist with exam grading, lectures, and other teaching activities, primarily in the area of forensic and legal psychology, but possibly also in our overarching clinical psychology program. We offer courses in English, and to a lesser extent in Dutch.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who:

• has a MSc-degree in a relevant area such as legal, forensic, or experimental psychology;
• has experience with teaching in academia;
• has scientific creativity and productivity, as shown by peer-reviewed publications;
• has creative and innovative research ideas in the field of forensic and legal psychology;
• can teach in English (and Dutch).

An internationally oriented and varied job in an enthusiastic team, with good working conditions in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU).

The start date of this position is September 1 2023, or as soon as possible, and you will be based at DPECS, ESSB at Woudestein campus. The position is for 0.6- 0.8 FTE. The salary is dependent on your experience and knowledge and ranges from a minimum of € 2960 monthly gross wage to a maximum of € 5439 gross per month on a fulltime basis, in accordance with scale 10 or 11 of the CAO-NU. In addition, we offer an 8% holiday allowance, an end-of-year payment of 8.3%, and a very generous paid leave scheme.
