At Wageningen Economic Research, within the Secretariat Group, we are looking for an Office Assistant Project Output. From 1 January 2025, Economic Research will merge with another research institute of Wageningen UR. This means you will join at the perfect moment to help shape this transition with your colleagues.

Job Description
Together with nine other colleagues, you will form the institute’s Secretariat Group. As part of this team, the Office Assistant Project Output supports project leaders in the final phase of their projects. Your tasks include:
  • Coordinating the publication of reports, factsheets, presentations, and other text-related project outputs for Economic Research. You will follow established procedures and guidelines.
  • Liaising with internal colleagues (such as project leaders, team leaders, management, reviewers, and editorial staff) and external suppliers (such as translators, designers, and printers) to keep everyone informed of the process's progress.
  • Acting as the point of contact for project leaders, coordinating the publication process from start to finish. You will plan, organise, and monitor this process.
  • Ensuring all project outputs comply with the WUR house style or the client's Terms of Reference, making adjustments as needed.
  • Communicating about the delivered output and handling the administration related to your tasks.

Requirements

  • You have at least an MBO-level education in a relevant field, such as communications or secretarial studies, and at least five years of work experience.
  • You have a strong affinity for text processing and layout and are an expert with MS Office Word.
  • You possess good knowledge and experience with Adobe and other Office software.
  • You are excellent at planning and consider yourself a social, results-oriented, and stress-resistant go-getter who likes to take the initiative and responsibility.
  • You can manage appointments and deadlines in a customer-friendly manner.
  • You have excellent command of Dutch (native/C2) and English (at least B1), both spoken and written.
  • You are accurate, flexible, and a good team player.

In addition to these outstanding secondary employment conditions, we offer a competitive salary. Depending on your experience, the salary ranges from a minimum of € 2388 to a maximum of € 3245 for a full 36-hour work week, in accordance with the CAO Wageningen Research (scale 6). The appointment is for 20-24 hours per week. Initially, we offer you a one-year contract, which will be extended to a permanent contract upon mutual enthusiasm.
