As Learning Developer, you will be part of a team of Learning Developers. You will work in a dynamic, technical and scientific setting in which teacher development and educational development play a central role. Your main responsibilities lie in the area of developing and executing didactic training and consultation for two target groups: PhD candidates within the Doctoral Education Programme, and lecturers within the University Teaching Qualification Programme. The emphasis lies on providing didactic training geared towards teaching in a technical university setting.

The TU Delft is a bilingual organisation in Dutch and English. TLS provides courses primarily in English. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement.
Providing a workshop may be part of the application procedure.
Fixed-term contract: 1 year with extension possibilities.
It is a function with a size of 36 – 40 hours (1.0FTE). It is a temporary employment contract for a period of 1 year with extension possibilities. The salary is based on scale 11 from the collective agreement for Dutch Universities with a minimum of €3637 and a maximum of €4978 gross per month for a full-time appointment. You will be classified on the basis of knowledge and experience. You will accrue pension via the ABP pension fund.
Besides of course the holiday allowance in May, you will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% in December. You can also compile a part of your terms of employment package yourself with the help of the Individual Terms and Conditions package, including buying and selling leave hours.
A good balance between work and private life is important. That is why you can make agreements about flexible working hours, you have many vacation days and parental leave is partially paid.

Education and Student Affairs (ESA) provides educational support for the TU Delft (BSc, MSc, PhD and online education) and four departments: Education Service Centre (ESC), Academic Services (AS), Extension School (ES), and Sports and Culture (S&C). ESA is known within the TU Delft for the high-quality service it provides and has a pro-active and solution-oriented culture.
The Academic Services Department consists of two teams. The Student Development team provides support and advisory services to students, which includes organising the Honours Programme and career activities, and providing student counselling services. The Teaching and Learning Services team provides support and training to teachers, and support for various educational innovation programmes such as the Extension School and the TU Delft Teaching Lab.
The Teaching and Learning Services team aims to be a partner for educational change and the development of teaching skills by offering effective, efficient, and accessible services, with state-of-the-art knowledge and understanding of education, innovation, and support systems. The team consists of about 30 staff members divided into three groups: Support, Learning Development and Educational Innovation.
