What is the challenge?
As Research Data Coordinator, you will implement the Data Gathering program. This means that you are responsible for the proper opening up and transfer of research data from the firms to the research teams. To this end, you are in daily contact with both the firms and the research teams to coordinate planning, status and to answer substantive questions. In addition, you will ensure the correct data transition, in cooperation with our partner CentERdata. The provision of data from public sources is an important service of FAR, you will be the one leading this. Our team of student associates will help you with this. As Research Data Coordinator you report to the Research Program Manager, with whom you also work closely.

FAR is an autonomous research organization that facilitates research into factors that determine audit quality and stimulates knowledge sharing in this field. The goal of the Foundation for Auditing Research is to provide policy makers with evidence-based insights and enrich the academic community with fruitful research. The foundation puts out research requests and invites international research groups to conduct these studies. FAR coordinates the data collection from the nine largest accountancy firms and makes these and sometimes funds available to the research groups to carry out their projects. FAR is thus a unique collaboration between science and practice. For more information, please visit our website: http://foundationforauditingresearch.org/.
