Job description

The Department of Anthropology and Development Studies at Radboud University is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to strengthen the research of the 'Resilient Indonesian Slums Envisioned' programme. To construe such an approach you will conduct a literature study of scientific research and relevant reports and compile data from the other work packages on wellbeing, water-sensitivity and inclusive policy, looking for important characteristics and interrelations. In addition you will conduct qualitative empirical research on human-nature interactions in Indonesia to verify the findings and further deepen and underpin the theoretical understandings.

You will be expected to:

  • Perform and publish top-quality research on topics relevant to the RISE programme, specifically on human-nature interactions.
  • Become actively involved in the joint workshops/seminars and other joint activities of the RISE programme.
