The Ph.D. student will be based at the Department of Accounting and Information Management, which is known to be one of the best in its field in Europe and its PhD Program in Accounting is ranked #1 in Europe based on the all-time BYU ranking (http://www.byuaccounting.net/rankings/phdrank/rank_phd.php?sortorder=ranking306&qurank=All). The majority of research in the department can be classified as economics-based, quantitative empirical research, and experimental research.
Candidates will be judged on the basis of the requirements outlined below. To be considered, candidates should make sure that their application letter demonstrates how they meet these requirements:
Fixed-term contract: 4 years.
Salary scale: PhD (Dutch University Salary Scales)
Employment basis: Temporary for specified period
Additional duties: Involvement as a teacher in tutorials
