4 PHD POSITIONS IN THE TALENT ACADEMY “SMART FACTORY & PRODUCTS”
to start as soon as possible.
The Talent Academy “Smart Factory & Products” is part of the “Career Lab Hochschule Osnabrück” (CarLa) and acts as platform for promoting higher education qualifications in the field of “smart factory” and “smart products”. By involving both regional and international partners from business, science and society, the Academy aims to create a place for the lively exchange of expertise, the transfer of knowledge, and the joint promotion of early stage researchers and development of high potentials.
The Academy promotes independent research and the acquisition of qualifications in the context of a cooperative doctorate in partnership with an institution with the right to award doctorates, to be selected by the successful candidate. The main areas of applied research are as follows:

The Talent Academy facilitates thematic, methodical/scientific and interdisciplinary exchange within the university, with other institutions in Germany and abroad, and with practitioner partners.
The position involves part-time employment (50%); as a qualification position in accordance with Section 2(1) of the Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act (WissZeitVG), the position is for a fixed term of 3 years, depending on any previous periods of employment that need to be taken into account. Remuneration is in accordance with pay grade 13 of the Public Sector Collective Agreement for the Federal States (TV-L). In agreement with the supervising professor the place of work is Lingen or Osnabrück.
