We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Student & Education Logistics system Expert, with IT system support experience and affinity with working within an education/research institute. Within the education area, we are starting an Agile product team which is integrally responsible for the maintenance and innovation of the educational administrative systems (Student Information System, Scheduling system, Student Exchange system, Quality Assurance System, etc.) and for the guidance of students from application to graduation. The Agile product team Student & Education Logistics will be working on high stakes and fast paced projects and tasks in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
The position:As a Student & Education Logistics system Expert, you'll be working in the Agile product team Student & Education Logistics, under the responsibility of the Product Area Education within the department of Library and Information Services, LIS. Within this product team, you will be working with various disciplines according to the Agile method and will be focusing on the logistic processes within education. Outside your team, you will also be working closely together with other product teams within the field of education (Assessment support, Learning Support, Hybrid Education & Audiovisuals), educationalist experts, architecture, privacy and security and of course business representatives from our faculties.
- Assess impact analysis for RfC (request for change) calls based on business needs and requirements.
- Functional management and support on educational tools (2nd line support).
- Translate educational needs into functional requirements and the other way around.
- Keep in touch with the key-users and other business representatives.
- Keep in touch with technical experts, both internally and from suppliers.
- Support interfaces between systems.
- Support and participation in educational innovation projects/implementation of new tools.
