We are looking for an Assistant Professor to strengthen our Work and Organizational Psychology section. The Work and Organizational Psychology (WOP) section is embedded in the Department of Work and Social Psychology of the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience of Maastricht University. With its research activities, the WOP section seeks to contribute to a better understanding of how the challenges of a changing world of work can be addressed and working conditions can be created that benefit both organizations and employees. With this goal in mind, the WOP team investigates a broad range of topics in the area of occupational health, team flourishing, leadership, and organizational behavior (https://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/research/wsp/research/work-and-organisational-psychology). We are committed to conducting high-quality research that addresses societal challenges and matters while at the same time being theory-driven and contributing to a refined understanding of psychological processes in the context of work. We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who meets the following requirements:
The vacancy concerns a full-time (0.8-1.0 FTE) structural position (tenured after a 1/1.5-year probationary period), with a teaching load of approx. 50 % and 50 % time for research.
Depending on experience and qualification, the maximum gross monthly salary is €5,439 based on a full-time employment and in accordance with scale 11 of the Collective Labour Agreement of the Dutch Universities. An 8% holiday and an 8.3% year-end allowance is also provided.
In addition to good primary employment conditions, UM also offers an attractive package of secondary employment conditions.
