Algebraic topology is one of the research areas of the
Department of Mathematics at Radboud University. The field is currently represented by Dr Magdalena Kedziorek and Dr Steffen Sagave, together with four PhD candidates.
The department has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and hosts researchers in related areas including algebraic and arithmetic geometry, differential geometry, operator algebras, and representation theory. The department employs junior and senior staff, as well as of Dutch and international researchers, and, each year, it organises various research seminars and informal events. Moreover, the algebraic topologists at Radboud University are part of a larger network of Dutch algebraic topologists, who regularly come together to share their knowledge and findings.
