The Research Data Infrastructure (RDI) Lab at the Library and Information Services (LIS) service department is at the forefront of shaping the research landscape at TU/e through innovative Research Data Management (RDM) solutions. Our goal is to support our university's academics through every step of our Research Data Lifecycle (RDLC) model. We are embarking on a transformative journey, and we invite dynamic individuals to join us in pioneering advancements in RDM.
What Does the Job Entail?
- Collaborate with TU/e's Data Steward team and RDM Service Manager in a one-year project.
- Draft a forward-thinking research data lifecycle policy, a cornerstone of our developing Research Archive Packaging Solution (RAPS).
- After successfully shaping this policy, there is an opportunity for growth into a new role in the development of RDM solutions based on the applicant profile and activities within the RDI domain.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Proactively engage with stakeholders across scientific departments (e.g., researchers, lab managers) to map the research data landscape, to promote and integrate RDM best practices.
- Proactively steer on the realization of the archiving service.
- Work closely with Data Stewards and RDM Service Manager to select optimal tooling and establish best practices in RDM workflows.
- Define best practices and requirements for archiving data.
- Synthesize requirements from multidisciplinary fields into a practical lifecycle policy.
