The International Office (IO) is part of the Academic Services Division. Its main task is to provide services in the area of (international) student and staff mobility, international admissions, immigration support, accommodation issues, scholarship programs, and the Tilburg University Summer School. In addition, the IO supports other divisions and Schools with their international activities and advises them in their international strategic goals and mission.
Within the International Office, the International Admissions team (IA) is responsible for facilitating and executing the admission processes for students with a non-Dutch diploma.
Together with your fellow International Admission Coordinators, you are responsible for processing and evaluating applications of students with a non-Dutch diploma who wish to be admitted into one of our Bachelor programs. You ensure that the process from applying to admitting is done in a timely and efficient way. Assessing the previous education of our applicants is an important aspect within this procedure. Furthermore, you provide information to applicants about the status of their application, answer questions that are related to admissions by phone and e-mail, and ensure that our (online) communication is up-to-date and correct.
Within the University you maintain good relationships with our internal partners, e.g. Student Administration, Student Desk, Marketing & Communication, and colleagues from the International Office and Educational Support Teams. You provide information about the admission process as well as the assessment of (international) diploma’s to our partners and you are attentive to the fact that we are part of a process chain together with our partners.
As a team member we expect that you actively contribute to the development and description of our admissions procedures and work instructions, and build / expand your knowledge about international educational systems.

This is a position for 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) and the starting date of this position is 2 January 2025.
The salary amounts to a minimum of € 3.186 and a maximum of € 4.255 gross per month for full time employment contract, based on UFO profile ‘Employee Student Affairs/ Medewerker Studentenzaken 2’ and salary scale 8 of the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. Tilburg University uses a neutral salary system for scaling that is based on relevant education and work experience.
This is a vacancy for a structural position in accordance with Article 2.3, paragraph 1 of the CLA for Dutch Universities. You will be given a temporary employment contract for the duration of 12 months. After this period, if your suitability has been proven and you continue in the same position, and sufficient financial funding, you will receive an employment contract for an indefinite period.
You are entitled to a vacation allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% of your gross annual income. If you work 40 hours per week, you will receive 41 paid days of leave per year.
