Who are we?
We are an enthusiastic team of three management assistants responsible for supporting three chair groups within the Communication, Philosophie and Technology (CPTE) section. Additionally, we value (personal) development and make it a priority. To stay up-to-date in our field, we attend a professional conference every year.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the professor of one of the chair groups (managing the agenda and mailbox);
  • Providing administrative support to the chair group;
  • Handling educational administration for the section;
  • Placing orders;
  • Booking travel;
  • Keeping track of (and managing) the department's facilities;
  • Being a point of contact for colleagues and students.

Requirements

Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic team player with a passion for the profession. You easily maintain an overview, are communicatively strong, socially skilled, and can quickly switch between tasks. Supporting others is second nature to you. You also enjoy thinking about optimizing work processes and like to stay informed about developments in the field.

Your qualifications:
  • MBO/HBO (vocational/higher professional) level of thinking;
  • Work experience in a similar role is a plus;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
  • Proficient in MS Office;
  • You can quickly familiarize yourself with various administrative software systems.

Of course, this excellent secondary employment package comes with a competitive salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a market-conforming salary ranging from €2844 to €3420 for a full-time workweek of 38 hours, according to the CAO for Dutch Universities (scale 6). This is a long-term position, initially offered as a one-year contract with the intention to convert to a permanent contract upon satisfactory performance.
