Campus Fryslân (CF) is the 11th faculty of the University of Groningen and is located in the city of Leeuwarden. It is an interdisciplinary faculty that focuses on topics in research and teaching that are of regional importance as well as global significance. The Marketing, Recruitment and International Relations team at Campus Fryslân advises, leads, implements and supports the faculty in these areas. The faculty offers two bachelor’s and three master’s programmes and PhD tracks. We are currently seeking a proactive, creative, and engaging recruitment officer with a hands-on, result-driven mindset. This individual will play a key role in supporting Campus Fryslân's efforts to promote CF programmes, with a primary focus on the national market.

Position
This position is all about connecting, inspiring, and making an impact! As the Student Recruitment Officer at Campus Fryslân, you will be our front-line ambassador, fostering relationships with high schools, prospective students and their families. You’ll play a key role in sharing the story of our programmes, Campus Fryslân and the vibrant city of Leeuwarden, focusing on national student recruitment.

You'll work closely with our team to shape and implement our marketing and recruitment strategies, making a difference in the lives of future students and their student journey.
In this position, you will get to

- Play a key role in shaping and executing our recruitment strategy, focusing on reaching students across the Netherlands.
- Organise and coordinate events, such as Open Days, Master's Week, Student for a Day, CF Experience and other events for both bachelor’s and master’s programmes.
- Deliver compelling presentations to prospective students, their parents and school counsellors, inspiring them to explore the opportunities Campus Fryslân has to offer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Dutch high schools, managing visits, events and the Dutch Counsellors newsletter.
- Oversee the web classes for our bachelor’s programmes and work closely with the web class student assistant.
- Create, organise and attend networking activities for prospective students, counsellors and deans’ networks.
- Lead the CF ambassadors team, empowering them to share their student experiences and represent the faculty at fairs and events.
- Represent Campus Fryslân at University of Groningen central recruitment meetings and events, ensuring that our programmes stand out to the right audience.
- Keep our digital and printed resources, such as webpages and flyers up to date.
- Collaborate closely with the team to support, evaluate and improve our recruitment efforts.

Additional role features

- Travel & variety: You will regularly travel for school visits, events and recruitment activities, making each week different and giving you the chance to connect with diverse groups across the country.
- Student assistant support: You’ll work alongside two student assistants who will support your activities, enabling you to focus on strategic priorities and impactful activities.

- Familiarity with the Dutch education system is an asset: You have a good understanding of the Dutch school system, ideally with experience in Dutch higher education and knowledge of the Frisian region.

Conditions of employment

Fixed-term contract: 12 months.

We offer you, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities:

- A minimum salary of € 3,186 and a maximum salary of € 4,255 (scale 8) gross a month on a full-time basis in accordance with your education level and experience.
- A holiday allowance of 8% of gross annual income and an 8.3% year-end bonus.
- An initial period of 1 year, after which the position will be evaluated.

Preferred starting date: as soon as possible (starting date is negotiable).
