Are you a skilled in working with research information system? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented colleague to join our team supporting the Current Research Information System (CRIS). Job description In this pivotal role, you will collaborate to integrate, maintain, and optimize our CRIS, ensuring accurate capture, visibility and reporting of research outputs and activities.
As a CRIS administrator, you will collaborate with other colleagues to integrate, maintain, and optimize the TU Delft CRIS, ensuring accurate capture and reporting of research outputs and activities.
You will collaborate with multiple teams within the TU Delft Library and consult with the University's stakeholders, to streamline data processes, and support strategic initiatives to ensure research visibility, relevance and impact.
As a key administrator for the Current Research Information System (CRIS) you ensure that the metadata from the CRIS is successfully utilised to enable reporting and the showcasing of academic profiles via the research portal. The CRIS officer supports a varied range of day-to-day activities which are central to the successful implementation and management of the CRIS.
Support - First line of support for end user issues and queries (escalate to Repository Manager and ICT as needed)
- Facilitate internal training in the use of the CRIS
- Assist with and create (ad hoc) reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Library's 'metadata/cataloguing team' to ensure content creation and metadata quality
System maintenance - Investigate issues and propose solutions, make change/bug fix requests
- Create and submit change proposals (functioneel ontwerp) to system developer
- Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
- Work with the ICT department to ensure that system updates are executed correctly and connections to other TU Delft systems run smoothly
- Proactively monitor and identify challenges, both internally and with suppliers
System management - Manage the administrator's system settings
- Manage (configure) user accounts;
- Manage different (API) interfaces between Pure and other ss;
- Have basic understanding of API functionality
- Basic understanding of (meta)data formats used in data exchange
- Familiar with querying academic resources such as WoS, Scopus and Dimensions.
- Resolve isssues with synchronisation processes (with support of ICT)
Communication - Facilitation of internal training in the use of the system especially the reporting modules
- Act as a liaison for the supplier and key users;
- Participate in (national) user groups and working groups
Job requirements - Minimum of a higher professional education (HBO)/university degree (WO), preferably with a strong data analysis and/or information management component
- Demonstrable experience with CRIS configuration and setting up processes, tools and workflows
- A good understanding of the role of information in decision-making processes based on experience
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical, strategic and communication skills, with the ability to persuade different target groups

- A job of 24 hours per week.
- A salary based on scale 10 of the CAO for Dutch Universities with a minimum of € 3.345,- and a maximum of € 5.278,- gross per month based on a fulltime contract (38 hours), plus 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
