Application procedure
To apply for this position, please submit the following documents at your earliest convenience. We will start reviewing applications by 13 January 2025, while applications will remain open until all openings have been filled. The only way to apply is online. The final selection decision for openings 1 and 2 will be announced not later than 1 March 2025.
- Letter of motivation, including research area/topics of interest, specifically indicating at the top of your letter for which of the above scope(s)/project(s) you are applying. Letters that fail to indicate any of the specific positions above will not be considered.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Official copy of your university degree and grades (full transcripts of BSc and MSc).
- A pdf copy of your master thesis or other research-oriented output (such as a Bachelor Thesis or a term paper). This work must be single- or first-authored. If you are currently working on your master thesis, feel free to submit your thesis draft.
- The exact contact details of at least two references.
- Proof of proficiency in English, or a request for exemption
- If applicable, a recent GRE or GMAT score.
- For positions 1 and 2, a one-page research proposal describing your research ideas and interests
- For position 4, proof of proficiency in Dutch
- For position 5, proof of nationality (citizenship) and proof of proficiency in Dutch (such as completion of a Dutch high school diploma)
