Wageningen University & Research
MAQ groupThe present MAQ group is a vibrant, collaborative team of young and mid-career researchers who work in the field of meteorology and air quality (see
www.maq.wur.nl). The meteorology section currently consists of 8 faculty members, 2 special professors, 1 postdoc and 10 PhD candidates supervised by current staff. The meteorology section and air quality section work closely together on those topics where the connection of disciplines is essential. The MAQ group is part of the cluster for Climate, Water and Society (CWS), a new cluster of chair groups within the overarching Environmental Sciences Group (ESG).
The staff of the MAQ group coordinates and teaches courses in the three-year BSc programme Soil, Water, Atmosphere and in the two-year MSc Earth and Environment and Climate Studies programmes.
The Group is efficiently organised and supported by dedicated secretarial, financial and HR advisors. The group and student community is largely international and the courses of the Group are taught in English.
Wageningen University & ResearchDelivering a substantial contribution to the quality of life: that's our focus, each and every day. Within our domain of good and safe food & food production, food security and a healthy living environment, we search for answers to issues affecting society - such as sustainable food production, climate change and alternative energy. Of course, we don't do this alone. Every day, 5000 people at WUR work on 'the quality of life', turning ideas into reality, on a global scale.
Could you be one of these people? We give you the space you need. For further information about working at Wageningen University & Research, take a look at
