AcademicTransfer is well known in the research community. We want to offer you the opportunity to provide tips and guidance to fellow researchers and PhD students as they start their own academic journey. Starting and creating a blog, podcast or even a vlog is beneficial for any scholar’s career and helps showcase your experience and expertise which in turn may help others.
As an academic researcher you often face competition and only a few can reach the top of professorship. It can be challenging to take the next career step. To support one another and to make these career journeys for researchers more transparent and help fellow researchers along the way, we are looking for the best tips and experiences in either pursuing a career in or outside academia in the Netherlands.
So, do you want to help and inspire (future) researchers in deciding on their next career step? Create a blogpost, vlog or podcast for us and the best three will be published on our platforms so your message will get to your target audience.
Contest conditions
There are three conditions for your blogpost, vlog or podcast*:

you are doing research in the Netherlands;

it needs to be in English;

subject: the challenges of reaching your position and how you can prepare for it. Examples: 1. You are a postdoc researcher and share your tips for PhD candidates who want to do a postdoc soon 2. You are working as a researcher outside academia (industry or consultancy) and want to inspire other PhD candidates about this career possibility.
