CTCM was founded as a company to support clinical research in the University Hospital Maastricht. Today, the CTCM provides its services to everyone in need of support in research involving all human subjects, not just research involving patients. The ties with the MUMC+ remain very strong.

CTCM’s services and expertise are traditionally very strong for studies with a trial design. Nevertheless, over the years these GCP-proof services have evolved into services for almost every possible study design, also cohort studies among others.

CTCM is the starting point for all research involving human subjects in the MUMC+. Not only do we provide services to support this research, we also coordinate and facilitate all administrative aspects of human research, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the MUMC+. As the expertise center, all questions regarding human research can be directed to CTCM. For external parties, CTCM is the contract partner, strategic partner, and also the first desk to turn to, when working with the MUMC+.
