Do you enjoy developing innovative ways of collaboration between companies and universities in the public or private sector in order to develop a value for our society? The
University of Twente can offer you that opportunity.
The MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology works closely together with MinacNed (the trade association for microsystems and nanotechnology) to maintain and extend a flourishing ecosystem that connects companies (mostly SME’s) and knowledge institutes in the field of micro-, nano-, and quantum technology.
A promising key emerging technology is quantum technology and the ecosystem around this technology is starting to grow, also thanks to the Quantum Delta National Growth fund programme (QDNL). As we see unprecedented chances in linking microtechnology, nanotechnology and quantum technology, the creation of a common ecosystem is key for success. Therefore MESA+, MinacNed and QDNL decided to team up, and are seeking a Community Builder to establish the required links needed for a vibrant micro-nano-quantum community.
The position Your main activity as Community Builder is to identify the key stakeholders in micro, nano and quantum technologies, to connect these and to further develop a collaborative, vibrant and lasting ecosystem. This implies that:
- You are jointly responsible for establishing and putting together sustainable relationships with major industrial partners, knowledge institutes, governments and network organizations, including the development of propositions/roadmaps;
- You support, advise, and guide stakeholders within the ecosystem with respect to long term innovation and value creation;
- You will connect academia and industry to set up consortia for external fund raising and expand the network of contacts;
- You create support for your plans at all levels and you are closely involved in their implementation and evaluation.
