Biomedical Engineering and embedded in research group Materiobiology & Nanobiomaterials. The department conducts high-quality translational research to develop and bring engineering solutions to the clinic. The multidisciplinary group focuses on smart responsive materials, biointerfaces, and nano/microsystems for drug delivery and coatings . Post-doctoral researchers are enrolled in the UMCG Postdoc Council.
