Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated post-doctoral researcher for 2 years with experience in EMC to contribute to cutting-edge projects. With this position you will work for R-PODID project. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with world-class experts, leverage state-of-the-art facilities, and make impactful advancements in this critical field. Additionally, our strong ties with industry provide unique opportunities to implement the risk-based approach into industrial design processes, ensuring robust and reliable EMC solutions. Moreover, we are dedicated to exploring the sustainability of these solutions, aligning our research with global efforts towards a greener and more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on EMC phenomena and develop novel solutions in the field of EMC for Power Electronics and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Design and implement experiments to validate EMC theories and techniques.
  • Analyse data and contribute to scholarly publications in leading journals and conferences.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to address real-world EMC challenges.
  • Support young researchers in the team and mentor students (BSc and MSc), providing them with guidance and opportunities for publications.

Requirements

  • PhD in ElectroMagnetic Compatibitlity.
  • Experience in EMC for power electronics and/or Artificial Intelligence is a good extra asset.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS) and experimental techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of scholarly achievements.
  • Ability to conduct high quality academic research, reflected in demonstratable outputs.
  • A team player who enjoys coaching PhD and Master's students and working in a dynamic, interdisciplinary and international team.
  • A proven ability to manage complex projects to completion on schedule.
  • Excellent (written and verbal) proficiency in English, good communication and leadership skills.
