As program manager you will be the overarching liaison for cooperation within the EWUU alliance for the Circular Safe Hospitals (CSH) theme. You will be embedded in the Institute 4 a Circular Society (i4CS) team, consisting of passionate and collaborative professionals. You will work closely with the scientific coordinator CSH, the program manager of our other theme ‘Urban-Rural Circularity’ and with the scien-tific director and program director. Because this is a partly pioneering role, it provides opportunities to bring in and realize your own ideas, in consultation with the i4CS team and in alignment with our goals and ambitions.

Circular Safe Hospitals (CSH) is one of the two themes within i4CS. It is our mission to accelerate the transition towards healthy, just, and circular healthcare systems in line with the mission of the Dutch healthcare sector to become fully circular in 2050 (Green Deal Sustainable Healthcare). We aim to develop transdisciplinary circular strategies and scalable solutions that will minimize the environmental footprint of hospitals. Research Office
If a candidate is selected who already works at one of the four partner institutions, she/he/they will remain employed by that partner. In other cases, UMC Utrecht will be the new employer and the person will be positioned at the Research Office. The Research Office is part of the Directorate Strategy & Policy of the UMC Utrecht and focuses on strategic advice on development, implementation and evaluation of science policy within UMC Utrecht.
