The Section of Psychology, Health, and Technology (PHT) at the University of Twente is looking for a talented Lecturer Psychology & Technology (0.84 FTE). You will be teaching in several modules in the first and second year of the Bachelor of Psychology. These modules have a broad focus on psychology & technology. You will work mainly in the design and research component as well as the professional academic skills component of the modules. You will be working in an experienced team as a tutor of working groups as well as a supervisor of Bachelor theses and research projects. we are looking for a highly motivated lecturer who wants to develop their teaching skills
you have a master’s degree in psychology with a focus on psychology in combination with technology
you are passionate about teaching and adopt a personal approach to students
you see a challenge in combining psychological theories with innovative design and research principles in (mental) health care
you are open to the personal development of students in teaching professional academic skills
you are a teamplayer with good communication skills
you have excellent command of English, and preferably also of Dutch. Currently all teaching is conducted in English, but a Dutch track is being prepared for the academic year 2025-2026
Conditions of employment
we offer you a contract for 1 year (for 32 hours per week). With the intention of a extension for one year if financial conditions remain unchanged
salary between € 3.226 and € 5.090 gross per month (in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities) bases on the job profile of Lecturer
8,3% end-of-year bonus and 8% holiday allowance
minimum of 29 holidays in case of full-time employment
