PhD student Lindeboom lab to study transcription fact

Published Deadline Location

Job description

The research group of Rik Lindeboom is a newly established laboratory that uses quantitative biology to understand the protein interactions in tumor and immune cells. Our lab provides a fresh and vibrant environment where we integrate state-of-the-art proteomics and genomics technologies with advanced data analysis workflows. An important underlying linchpin in our lab is the use of absolute quantification of abundances and interaction strengths at high-throughput, to obtain a quantitative understanding of how proteins operate inside and between cells.

We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to measure and study how binding kinetics of oncogenic transcription factors are regulated. The foundation for this exciting project is described in our recently published Nature Biotechnology paper: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41587-023-01715-w.
