As Senior Functional Application Manager, you and the team are responsible for managing all HR applications and interfaces within our HR IT landscape. You work as a cooperating foreman/Scrum Master together with your team of HR Functional Application Administrators, HR process and application owners, product owners and other stakeholders within and outside HR. Your goal besides operational continuity is to continuously improve the user experience of HR processes and applications at all levels.

Your duties and responsibilities as (Sr) Functional Application Manager are:
  • Proactively manage HR applications and interfaces, including actions from the annual calendar and releases from suppliers;
  • share substantive expertise on the HR processes and applications for Key Users and provide 1st-line support (HR Contact Centre) and 2nd-line support for end users;
  • handling change requests;
  • contributing to improvement projects within the HR domain and IT.

Your duties and responsibilities as a cooperating foreman/ Scrum Master are:
  • Participating in consultations with the MultiDisciplinary Team for the backlog, priorities and planning (Sprint Planning, Weekstart, Refinements, Retrospectives;
  • work distribution within the team of functional administrators and monitoring progress (flow);
  • coordinating team matters such as leave and facilitating that the team can perform optimally.

Requirements

You are accurate and careful, take initiative to help and learn new tools and applications. You enjoy working independently and also effectively within a team. Integrity, customer and result orientation are core values for you.

You also have:
  • at least five years of relevant work experience as a functional application manager, of which at least one year within the HR domain;
  • experience with optimising and digitising (HR) and functional management work processes;
  • knowledge of and experience with various HR applications and links, ADP Workforce/ Multipay and ServiceNow is a bonus;
  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • fluent skills in Dutch and English;
  • good analytical and communication skills.

In our international working environment, communication is increasingly in English. For this position, fluency in Dutch and English is required B2. If you do not yet have this level, we will of course help you and you can contact our language centre Wageningen in'to Language .

You will initially receive a one-year contract, which will be extended upon in mutual enthusiasm.
