The Hubrecht Institute invites applications for a tenure-track group leader position. We are interested in candidates with curiosity-driven, innovative research plans in the domain of molecular and developmental biology (or connected domains) that can synergize with ongoing research in the institute. We especially welcome applications from female candidates and candidates from underrepresented backgrounds
The Hubrecht institute is a world-class research institute (see our recent international evaluation
report and
review) with an international and vibrant scientific community. It promotes curiosity-driven research and technological innovations in an open, collaborative atmosphere, which is stimulated by a non-hierarchical organization. The research is supported by various expert support teams and by state-of-the-art facilities for bioimaging, flow cytometry, single-cell sequencing, animal husbandry, protein production and histology. The institute does not have a teaching assignment, but options are available through Utrecht University and the research school ‘Cancer, Stem Cells and Developmental Biology’, in which the Hubrecht Institute has a central role.
