As part of the Library’s Management Team, you play a pivotal role in driving our library's strategic direction and ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of our users.
As a leader you will advance innovative thinking while meeting external and internal drivers, developing and delivering services and support to researchers throughout the research life cycle.
You have a proven experience of open research, scholarly communications, research data support and data analysis and metrics and appreciate the importance of unique and distinctive collections.
You work closely with the colleagues throughout the university and specifically with EUR Engagement & Research Services department (ERS) and IT department (EDIS).

We offer you an internationally oriented and varied job in an enthusiastic team, with excellent working conditions in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU).
The start date of this position is as soon as possible and you will be based at campus Woudestein in the University Library. This position is for 0,8 fte – 1,0 fte. The salary is dependent on your experience and knowledge and ranges from a minimum of € 6.224 to a maximum of € 7.575 gross per month Scale 13 on a fulltime basis (38 hours), in accordance with the CAO-NU. The contract is entered into for the duration of one year and can be converted into a permanent contract if performance is good and the organizational circumstances remain unchanged.

As content manager of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), the University Library supports students, lecturers and researchers in creating and disseminating knowledge and deepening.

Research Support Department is an international orientated department with 18 colleagues divided between two teams focused on Scholarly Communications & Publishing Support and Data & Software Support. The department advises and supports EUR researchers in inclusive, efficient, and transparent processes of scientific (co-)creation, evaluation and communication.
