Like many organisations, WUR has transformed into an Agile organisation in recent years. Of course, we continue to improve, supported by the Scrum Masters. We have a close-knit and experienced Scrum Master team and are looking for a new colleague for this team.

THE FUNCTION
What are you going to do?
  • You guide teams in their daily work and help them stay focused on their goals, while at the same time keeping an eye on the bigger picture;
  • You will work closely with Product Owners to ensure that product visions are not only clear, but also realistic and actionable for the team;
  • You play an active role in stimulating collaboration within the team and create a working environment in which every team member is given the space to excel and make his or her voice heard;
  • Together with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches, you will work on organization-wide initiatives to continue to develop and improve our Agile way of working;
  • You support the team in creating valuable increments, with an eye for both the result and the working atmosphere and relationships within the team.

Requirements

  • You have several years of experience as a Scrum Master and you have a proven track record in guiding teams to successful results;
  • You have experience coaching multiple teams and know how to motivate people to grow in their role and responsibility;
  • You have a natural affinity for leadership and like to take initiative to implement positive change, both within your team and within the wider organization.
  • You are strong in monitoring processes and structuring teamwork, without losing sight of the human aspect;
  • You feel at home in an environment where you are challenged and where your personal development goes hand in hand with the growth of the team;
  • You speak and write Dutch fluently.

Our IT department, consisting of 200 employees, offers a modern ICT environment for education and research. We work in multidisciplinary teams on digitization, self-service, security, data management, high performance computing and cloud strategy, which offers plenty of development and career opportunities for specialists

Of course, these excellent fringe benefits also come with an appropriate salary. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of at least €4,001 to a maximum of €5,737 for a full working week of 36 hours in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement Wageningen Research.
