We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven postdoctoral researcher to contribute to a challenging project in the field of behavioural economics and health. This project focuses on understanding and predicting sports and physical activity behaviour and translating the results into practical solutions for policy-makers. Specific attention is given to two key research questions:
- Intention and behaviour: How often does an intention to engage in sports translate into actual sports behaviour?
- Habit formation and external shocks: What are the effects of external shocks on the process of habit formation?
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will conduct quantitative research on the above-mentioned questions using large datasets. You will develop insights that contribute to policies and practices promoting sports and physical activity. To this end, you will write scientific articles and reports, and collaborate with health, behaviour and policy experts within a multidisciplinary team.
