If you have received an interview invitation that mentions the CEST timezone: this is an error. Due to the live nature of the event at the Museumplein of The Embassy of The Netherlands in Jakarta, all times mentioned are local Jakarta times instead of CEST times! Only candidates with a personal invitation for a scheduled interview are invited and can be admitted to the venue. Make sure to bring your ID card or passport.
On Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 we will organize a live PhD recruitment event in Jakarta at the Museumplein at the Dutch Embassy. Free registration is open until Wednesday, October 19th.
Do you want to do your PhD in the Netherlands? Then this opportunity - exclusively for postgraduates from Indonesia and Dutch institutions, professors and recruiters - is your chance. Register now, create a profile, upload your CV and get an opportunity to be invited for a one-on-one live interview in Jakarta by a Dutch professor to discuss your (draft) research proposal or research ideas. For free!
The sooner you complete your registration, the sooner professors are able to study your CV.
This is your opportunity to talk with your possible future Dutch PhD supervisor about your research ideas. Take your chance to have a 20-minute one-on-one interview!
This event is organized and supported by The Embassy of the kingdom of The Netherlands in Indonesia, Nuffic Neso Indonesia and AcademicTransfer.
This is how attractive we have made it for you as a master's student who wants to come to the Netherlands to do a PhD:
Requirements
This event is only for Indonesian candidates who can bring their own funding or willing to apply for it at their national scholarship providers. The Dutch university that selected you, can help you fill in the right documents.
The funding must cover 4 full years for your cost of living (about €1300/month). The universities will -in most cases- waive tuition fees in return (i.e. you do not have to pay the universities for doing your PhD).
Universities, Medical Centers, Industry and Research Institutions
If you meet all requirements and want to get the chance to have a one-on-one interview with a Dutch professor or university recruiter, you can register until October 20th, 2022. Please be aware: do not wait until the deadline. The sooner you register, the greater the chance a professor is able to study your application and confirm an appointment! To apply you need to create an account on AcademicTransfer, upload your CV and complete your profile information.
After you register, Dutch professors will review your CV, research statement and/or proposal and profile. The professors decide who they will invite for a personal video interview. If you are one of the lucky candidates who receive an interview invitation, you will get an email with a time-slot proposal from the professor.
Although registration is open until October 16th, first come, first served so to say. Make sure you apply as soon as possible to have a greater chance. When professors have found the right candidates or run out of timeslots, the closing date could be adjusted to an earlier deadline. Each professor has a limited number of timeslots for interviews available.
