Job description

Are you a project lead who is eager to work in the academic heart of the top technology region of Brainport? Do you enjoy working at an inspiring campus with an international vibe? Then, we might be looking for you!

What will you be doing? 
  • Leading project activities including a tender for a state of the art Learning Platform and implementing this platform
  • Providing your professional advice regarding the use and choice of state of the art learning platforms
  • Managing stakeholders in a challenging environment with many different needs and decision-makers
  • Writing a project plan or improving the project plan
  • Fine-tuning project scope and project planning
  • Setting up and supervising a tender for the desired application/platform
  • Facilitating the decision-making process at different stages of the project
  • Aligning proactively with the principal/sponsor of the project
  • Functionally managing and motivating the project team
  • Ensuring integration with other ongoing projects within Learning & Development and other HR disciplines
  • Reporting progress to the principal and steering committee via the program manager and any other main stakeholders

Requirements

  • Preferably experience in complex, decentralized organizations with many stakeholders
  • Background and experience in HRM and / or L&D 
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Certification in project management is a plus
  • Affinity with facilitating learning is a plus
  • Knowledge of learning platforms is a plus
  • Competencies: results-oriented, accurate, stress-resistant, high degree of personal leadership, 'can do' mentality, structured, functional leadership.

Conditions of employment

  • An environment where you are encouraged to develop yourself in the field of HR.
  • Depending on knowledge and experience, the salary will amount to a minimum of €3.378,- and a maximum of €5.331,- (salary scale 10) gross per month under the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities.
  • We offer a contract for the period of 1 year with the possibility of extending this contract once for the maximum period of 1 year.

About the HRM Department
The service consists of approximately 130 colleagues and is composed of the HR Operations, HR Business and HR Development divisions. In this position, you will be part of HR Development (Policy, Development & Projects). HRM Development encourages talent, continuous development and innovation in order to make the best use of human potential. We want to support the departments, services, institutes and all employees of TU/e to continuously develop and adapt to internal and external changes.

About SQUAD
The project activities  are part of the SQUAD program (Support QUAlity Drive). SQUAD is a relevant step in achieving our Strategy 2030 goals and provides HRM with opportunities to strengthen HRM services, collaboration, and processes. HRM started the SQUAD program in April 2022. This will continue with the implementation of the HRM Change Plan in the next few years . The program aims to improve  the quality of HRM service delivery at our university, among other things, through critical reflection, external reviews, and change plans.
